Matt Rider, The Treehouse Man, is an Arizona native who has been building treehouses his whole life. He also has a degree in landscape architecture. Matt always puts the health of the tree first, thinning the canopy when needed.
Matt enjoys building treehouses for kids and adults alike, and also view decks, which reveal amazing vistas from your own backyard. Teens enjoy reading books high up in the canopy, kids love pulling snacks up the rope-and-pulley systems, and adults savor the privacy and the views--getting away from it all high up in the leaves.
Matt builds treehouses and view decks out of either redwood or cedar, for strength and durability, and uses sticks, branches, salvaged wood, and other materials to achieve an organic feel.
